MEDIATION / ARBITRATION

Nicholas Taldone is an accomplished mediator and arbitrator. Mr. Taldone mediates cases disputes involving insurance claims denials, labor and employment, professional liability, banking, financial and investment disputes, construction, and complex commercial issues. As a professional mediator, Mr. Taldone thoroughly reviews all of the materials sent to him by the parties and will work tirelessly towards facilitating resolution of the dispute.

Mr. Taldone also arbitrates cases administered by the American Arbitration Association, Federal Mediation and Conciliation Service, and FINRA. Mr. Taldone has also been appointed to serve as an arbitrator in Florida court ordered non-binding arbitration under Chapter 44, Florida Statutes.

Mr. Taldone has appropriate office space in his New Port Richey office to hold mediations and arbitrations. Mediation Experience 

Mr. Taldone has been a Florida Supreme Court Certified Court Mediator since 1996 and a Federally Certified Mediator since 1998. He is a member of the Mediation Panel of the American Arbitration Association. He is on the list of mediators eligible to receive referrals of court-ordered mediation in the state courts of Florida and the U.S. District Court, Middle District of Florida.

Labor – Management Arbitration 

Mr. Taldone serves as an arbitrator of issues arising from collective bargaining contracts. He is on the list of arbitrators of the Federal Mediation and Conciliation Service (FMCS) and the New Jersey state Board of Mediation. Mr. Taldone is also a Special Magistrate on the PERC roster of special magistrates per Chapter 447 and Rule 60CC- 3.003. Mr. Taldone is also a member of the panels of arbitrators under contract between State of Florida and AFSCME and between State of Florida and Fraternal Order of Police, Special Agent Unit through 2026.

His experience includes disputes concerning arbitrability, discharge, discipline, back pay, and contract interpretation. He is experienced in collective bargaining matters arising from the federal, state, and private employment sectors.
